Built in 1923, the home’s current owner believes it to be the work of famed architect Paul R. Williams, though as the Los Angeles Times recently reported, there’s not much evidence to substantiate that claim.

Situated on over one acre of land, the 12,220-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and seven full-size bathrooms. Features of the French Normandy-style dwelling include elegant beamed ceilings and walls of windows, along with a large dining room, parlor, study, screening room, and gym.
The sprawling grounds feature a sizable garden, tennis court, and a rock-lined pool and spa. On and off the market since summer, the home is asking $ 39.999 million.
