1921 estate in Los Feliz designed by Playboy Mansion architect asking $4.2M

Just lovely

This Los Feliz residence with Griffith Observatory views has some fun connections to Los Angeles history. It was built in 1921 by the architect Arthur R. Kelly, who also designed the Playboy Mansion, and it was, for a few years, the home of Earle C. Anthony, the Packard distributor and KFI Radio founder whose Los Feliz home-turned-convent Katy Perry recently fought to buy.

The gated property includes a main house, plus a detached guest house (formerly chauffeur’s quarters) and long driveway.

The main residence holds six bedrooms, French doors, and a vast kitchen with high-end countertops and appliances.

The house features a lovely entryway, which flows into the other rooms of the house through curved doorways, and a sunroom, which opens onto the backyard.

The green space behind the house contains a pool, landscaping, and an outdoor seating area.

It’s asking $ 4.2 million.
